Snapchat Study

As a companion piece to the Acumen Report: Youth Video Diet, and a collaboration with Variety, DEFY Media set out to understand how Gen Z and young Millennials use Snapchat to watch video (aka Stories). DEFY’s Youth Video Diet report revealed 69% of youth 13-24 years old use Snapchat—with 33% of those using the video feature. With those stats in hand, we set out to uncover the potential for Snapchat to not only be a messaging app, but also a leading video platform.
